Community Connections Mentorship

Attention Internationally trained professionals to Canada.

Someone is here to help you find your career path and overcome employment barriers. Come to our Speed Matching sessions to choose a right Mentor!

The Community Connections Mentorship Program aims to bring new and established Canadians together to build a stronger, more welcoming and inclusive community. The history of the program, formerly known as the Host Program, can be traced back to the inception of CultureLink. Over the last 25 years, the program has engaged the communities to help newly arrived immigrants and refugees feel at home, and assist them with realizing their full potential in Canadian society.

You are going to meet Mentors from different fields, i.e:  

  • Banking / Finance
  • Information Technology,
  • Accounting
  • Social Services / Health Care
  • and more…

To participate, you must: 

1. Be a Landed Immigrant or Convention Refugee (bring your PR card to the session)
2. Be 19 years or older
3. Have a job-ready level of English proficiency
4. Register with Tanya to obtain a number – (this is a by-invitation-only event)

Refreshment will be provided. All services are FREE.
