CAMP Networking Session with special guest Sukhjit Singh

Join Communications, Advertising & Marketing Professionals (CAMP) as they welcome special guest Sukhjit Singh on Thursday, Aug 29th for their latest networking session.

A recent immigrant & professional with progressive and diverse set of experience. In Canada for a mere three years, Sukhjit Singh, like any newcomer, has faced hardship and careers challenges.

But he found non-traditional ways of job hunting, and landed his first careers position in just six months as a settlement worker at Peel Multicultural Council in Mississauga. Singh moved on his career to work as a constituency assistant for an Ontario parliamentarian, before retruning recently to his work at the Peel Multicultural Council.

Sukhjit strongly believes that volunteerism is the best way to learn new things and great way to contribute and participate as well, especially for newcomers to Canada.

Sukhjit holds an MBA in IT and Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering. He is also a Certified Information and Referral Specialist and a Certified Careers and Employment Information Specialist.
