Foresters and its subsidiary, Unity Life are asking you to show your favourite things about Diwali in a Poster Design Contest. Use paint, crayons, charcoal, pencils, design software or any other medium as long as it's original art. This contest invites you to combine your imagination, creativity and skills to design a poster which best represents what Diwali means to YOU! Use any medium that can be captured on camera or a scanner, as all submissions must be electronic.
The awards ceremony will take place at the 2011 Diwali Fiesta on October 9, 2011 at the Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton, Ontario. One winner from each of the 3 age categories will be awarded a brand new iPad 2 from Foresters/Unity Life and your artwork will be displayed at the Diwali Fiesta.
Who can participate?
The contest is open to all residents of Ontario in the following categories:
Category 1 Ages 12 and under
Category 2 Ages 13 to 18
Category 3 19+
How to participate?
All entries should be submitted electronically as JPEG images or high resolution PDF files at a resolution of 300dpi at a minimum size of 8.5"x 11". Your artwork may originate in any medium and must not include clipart or any copyrighted material, so be creative! Please hold onto your original artwork. If you are a winner, we may want to rescan your piece for promotional use. Title your artwork in 25 words or less to describe the idea behind your piece.
