CultureLink’s Citizenship Mentoring Circles

Want to practice English, learn about Canadian culture and values, make new connections, and find a mentor who can help you with all these? The Community Connections Mentorship Program’s Citizenship Mentoring Circles are offered at various locations. This is a 10-session mentoring program, covering eight topics for newcomers to learn more about Canada. All sessions are facilitated by CultureLink’s trained Citizenship Education mentors.

Every participant will be matched with one mentor to ensure learning exposure. Our Citizenship Education Mentors help new Canadians to discover and appreciate Canada. During the 2-hour circle time, mentors help improve participants’ vocabulary and boost their confidence in speaking English by engaging them into vivid conversations around the topics.

Program is FREE for Landed Immigrants and Convention Refugees however pre-registration is required.
