CultureLink-TD WOMEN in Leadership Mentoring

The Mentoring Club at CultureLink
is once again hosting a women-only event in partnership with TD’s Women in Leadership employee group. This is to honour International Women’s Day in March.


Here are the Mentors’ profiles:

1. Manager Customer Relations, responsible for handling Customer Problem escalations that are above the branch level.

2. Team Leader; manage a team of accident benefit analysts and support them in their continued learning and career development

3. Project Delivery Manager; main role is delivering regulatory projects on budget and on time for the bank, program governance and people management.

4. Project Manager; main role is to manage projects and provide support to various Business Units, responsible for project coordination and escalation, poses expert knowledge of the operating environment (ie. processing , applications, software, hardware)

5. Manager, Commercial Credit Products & Segments; main role is conducting market research and industry analysis to determine areas where TD is currently under-represented from a market share perspective; to build our strategy, reach new segments, drive market share and conduct competitive analysis

6. Manager, Projects; main role is project coordination and management for TD Securities – Global Operations-Enterprise Payments (GOEP).

7. Claims Adjuster; work in the subrogation department which involves pursuing a third party that caused an insured loss to the Insured. This is done as a means of recovering the amount of the claim paid to the Insured for the loss.

8. Managing Counsel, TD Legal – a corporate lawyer that provides legal support for the TD Credit Cards and TD Merchant Services business groups at TD.

9. Manager, Community Relations –  I work with an extraordinary team from across Canada I work to review, evaluate and leverage TD’s community giving and sponsorship support.

10. Senior Analyst – currently work on fixed income securities related projects on the technology department, gathering & analyzing the business & system requirements, performing system testing, creating project related documents, manuals, presentation slides. I also work as a project manager, managing and delivering technology projects.

11. Team Manager Client Services for TD Insurance, Meloche Monnex – Primary role is that of coach. I have on average thirteen direct reports that I am responsible for.  I coach them to attain multiple targets include telephone service performance, compliance and sales.  I am also responsible to provide guidance for career development, leverage and promote reward and recognition programs and encourage team to achieve common goals and objectives.

12. Team Manager Client Services for TD Insurance, Meloche Monnex – offer support to our Manager for recruitment, interviewing and various administrative tasks associated with running our team  i.e. manage performance behavior and absenteeism.

13. Team Manager Client Services for TD Insurance, Meloche Monnex – same role as the above two

14. Wealth Information Centre Specialist, Accounts and Transfers; work with a team that is dedicated to delivering Peace of Mind to our partners and clients.

15. Self Assessment Auditor;  responsible for conducting Assessments for our Internal Partners (Collections, Customer Service, Loan Administration, Funding and Remarketing) to proactively test/audit compliance with all applicable provincial and federal laws.

16. Manager, Customer Service; manage a group of 7 rotating tellers and coach them to build excellent customer connections

17. Senior Manager; National vendor manager for residential claims at TD Insurance – General Insurance.  Lead vendor procurement, governance and performance management, establishing standards, best practices and consistency at a national level.

18. Senior accounts officer(collections) TD Auto Finance; responsible for working accounts more than 60 days past due, also mentor new hires, make sure that accounts are worked as per the call timing tree, month end delinquency report, auditing Jr account managers.

19. Manager, Business Banking Information Services; lead a team of subject matter experts to provide operational support for our commercial banking applications as well as expertise for enhancements and process improvements.

20. Manager Service Quality – Wealth Information Centre;  The WIC operates 7 days a week in a fast paced call centre environment striving to deliver an exceptional partner and client experience.   As the Service Quality Manager, I work with our WIC Managers and WM Operations partners to assess, develop and deliver learning solutions that align with a strong client, partner and employee experience, HR best practices & adult learning principles.

21. People Manager/Team Leader – manage claims and have 11 direct reports.

22. Team Leader in Accident Benefits Claims Services – work with 15 direct reports (Accident Benefits Assistants) who support the Claims Operation. I coach my team on their performance and development within the organization.

23. Team Manager – Insurance –  worked for TD Insurance for 9 years in several different job capacities and at different offices. Responsible in managing 8 reports to achieve their goals with production, compliance and CEI targets. My team is mostly responsible for completing automobile and residential renewals, processing mail from clients and responding to client emails.

24. Operations Manager, Casualty Claims Services – Assist in the development of strategies to ensure service level agreements and business plan objectives are met.

25. Team Leader, a people manager responsible for the coaching and development of a group of 8 individuals in the claims department.

The event will be on Tuesday, March 26, 9:30am-12:30pm at CultureLink’s offices located at 2340 Dundas St. W., Suite 301.
